Titan track stem... missing angled spacer

Hello,

I've been building a bike for ages now, the lack of cash has slowed things down.

Things have started to come together now.

I've had the frame detailed and clear coated, pics are on the thread below:

One of the last pieces of the puzzle is to tidy the stem up. I'm going to get it rechromed, but have one problem......

You can see the spacer I have is a bodge job. Has anyone got an idea where I might source a spacer that would be similar to the original in the third picture.

You could make one if you have a file. A small vice would make it easier

thanks Oz. for the advice.

I think that's the only way to go. I've tried four bikes shops and a fair few hardware stores. No joy

Anyone come across something like this that can be filed down?

Do you have a machine shop in your area? I'm sure they won't mind a small bit of pipe going missing from the bin if you ask. If you don't find any pipe with a small enough ID then you could drill out the centre of some round bar.
