Wanted: Silver ahead stem, 70 or 80mm

Anyone got one of these they want to sell cheapish? Hadn't realised they were so hard to find. Need one for standard 25.4 bars, not too steep an angle and preferably not too bulky.

+1! very hard to find silver parts in general, AHead stems in particular. Black ano has taken over!

I would look at the touring shops, like sjs and spa cycles. Also mick madgett of Madgett's in Diss does mail order, I'm often on the phone to him for old stock. He's a good bloke.

took me ages to find a silver stem too... then i got two in about a month! velosolo seem to be the easiest to find.

EDIT: here's one of the ones i got, it's pretty light and the postage was really quick too.

Yes, it's annoying - tons of choice in black or white. Contemplating just removing anodising from a black one.

The Velo Orange ones would be fine, just not keen to spend 25 quid when I don't really need something that shiny for an old touring bike.
