dont expect that much - well wouldnt mind neither - but something little more reasonable then £100 ...
Did you get the £1500 for the Frejus on ebay? That was a lovely frame and this is a nice bike too, but ffs just stop speculating and give the bike a fair price for you and the buyer and move on to your next sale.

almost that. - enough to be happy with - thanks for asking
I am not speculating mate, I honestly didnt know how to price it and just came across that other moser.if someone from this forum will get it I will sell for £550 - based on the price of the other bike.
if I put it on ebay I will ask £800 and will see what is going to happen.does this sound fair to you?

I couldnt say 'looking for offers of around £XXX' since I didnt have any idea how much can I ask for it....

But you just said 'if someone from this forum will get it I will sell for £550'
You need to just pick a price range that you are happy with which is also fair for a prospective purchaser, otherwise it comes across that you are hoping to snare some gullible into handing you a big payday.

crucial words are 'you just said', but obviously lack of price originally was a mistake,
I simply wanted to 'show' the bike and have some time to check possibilities/prices, lesson learned not to do that next timeBut where these 'it comes across that you are hoping to snare some gullible into handing you a big payday' are from?

I can't be bothered to argue with you about this, if you want to sell stuff on this forum 'the rules' state name a price, if you want to run an auction go to e-bay, this is not a place to test the water and see how much you may earn.

From your not putting an asking price in the first post, which is the one cardinal sin here.

appreciate that, admitted mistake
First and foremost my mistake was that I thought saying 'will put my price tomorrow' was good enough. But as said that seem to lead to confusion and some assumptions too.
But again 'lack of price was a mistake' so I suspect I got what I have earned this time.
thanks for that. I wont do it again :)
right.
