..I might be keen, I'm sitting in hospital having had my bike wiped out from underneath me so need to replace it. I'd be using it to commute and race on the track. How far off the ground are the drops in that picture? And how much lower can I get them? I'm a flexible f**ker..also I assume the front fork is drilled for brake? I'm not keen to have any less braking than on my last bike after that experience.
Finally, I take it the rear wheel is a flipflop so I can fit a sprocket on each side? (one for commuting and one for racing I was thinking..)

Ouch, sorry to hear that, hope you're back on a bike soon.
Best i can measure the drops sit about 74cm off the ground, and they are raised about 35mm with spacers, so you could possibly be looking at just over 70cm from the ground. The front takes a modern brake with the 8mm hex, so any modern front brake will be good, though im sure you could run the old bolted style too. The rear hub is fixed/fixed so you can run it fixed/freewheel or double fixed or double freewheel, so thats a bonus.Anything else just ask.

Hi
Would you consider selling the wheels on their own? -
• #5
Maybe if noone wants the whole bike. Id be looking for 100 posted or 90 collected inc. tyres and tubes.

could you do 75 with no tyres and tubes? I would be willing to buy these asap, meet central London

Well i could meet in london, but that was on the pretense of selling the whole bike. Its not really a good deal for me to pay to get up there to just sell parts to different people. Im 45 mins from london liverpool st.

Sold.
Im selling one my bikes to fund another bike thats ive had my eye on for some time.
I bought the bike in 2009 from evans as a 2009 fuji track 58cm.
Since then i have massively upgraded the bike, all that remains stock is is f&f and headset as they were both fine.
I added:
New wheelset. Handbuilt. velocity deep vs on planet x pista hubs.32h radial front apina DB stainless spokes (2.0, 1.7, 2.0) Rear sapim SB stainless spokes. Rims are blue but were bought having been used with brakes, purely cosmetic, done approx 1000 miles maybe more on these wheels, but have 'babied' this bike a lot and didnt use it in winter.
Bottom bracket: a stronglight JP 400 JIS , the aluminium cup version.
Chainset: Stronglight track 2000 , silver with black stronglight cnc chainring. 170mm 49t. done <100 miles
18t v sprint cnc sprocket.^
Black seatpost i bought from a friend, lighter than the fuji branded one
Charge spoon saddle in black.
Black stem, basically stock, from another fuji but was unbranded (not keen on logos)
3ttt road bars.
Vittoria rubino tyres.
New gold kmc chain.<100
No pedals as im keeping my spds.
Bars need tape.
Really good ride and very solid, upgraded everything i wasnt 100% happy with. Frame is is good condition with no dents and it very much true. Some paint chips on the frame, but thats just being picky. Tyres were bought for another bike and are pretty anti, but they have loads and loads of miles left in them and are a favorite tyre, just not in green.
Asking 300, can meet in london.
