Cheap tricks.

  • I've been riding fixed for about a year and have recently been trying a few basic tricks. I want to get a cheap trick build but wondered whether it'd be better to try and build something up cheap or to buy a used charge plug, mongoose maurice, charge scissor ect. Basically I just want something i can bash around without worrying too much, doesn't hav to be amazingly strong as I won't be jumping stair sets or anything and probably won't fit anything wider than a pair of 28C.

Also if i go for the build option if you could give me links to cheap stuff that would work well or things i should be looking out for 2nd hand.

  • For anyone looking for their five minutes of fame, sign up for the Skid competition at this year's Smithfield Nocturne on Saturday June 11.. It's being televised for the first time and Schwalbe are giving away tyres and swag as prizes. Plus free beers for all competitors!

  • That bike is a bargin but i wasn't advice more than anything and I think 700C's a must, I want something more like a road/track bike that can take abuse rather than an oversized BMX.
