What time? My rear tyre is a joke. Someone bring a spare tube and a puncture kit.
-
• #13
what time / which train are people getting from Cov to New Street? I may head into brum earlier and go wandering around. Be my first ride on my BSA, fingers crossed it doesn't fail me.
-
• #14
I can get to the Cov station about 6:30ish
-
• #15
oki, I have your and Steve's number so I can keep in touch, i paranoid my new bike will break for some reason, dont know why.
-
• #16
I share the paranoia... I put my pompino back together this morning (I was a little late for work...) new cranks, added links to chain, fiddled with breaks etc etc. After the crash I'm paranoid something's going to snap or come lose.
Still, I M'd TFU and rode to work on a 49:16 this morning, which was "fun" (haven't ridden fixed since the accident 4 weeks ago). Don't expect me to be riding fast tonight ;)

Train wise, we're probably best sticking to London Midland. There's one at 18:29 and 18:49. Which is best for you Marcus?
If anyone wants to meet at Albany Cycles, I'm heading there after work for about 5.30 with my broken cranks. Be interesting to see what they think of them!

How many of you are looking to come from Coventry?
Be great to see you down there, nice one getting organised..!
-
• #19
As long as my bike holds up i'll be there.
-
• #20
Steve, I will try for 18:29 and to be at the station about 15 mins before then.
-
• #21
Are you fella's getting on the rollers?
-
• #22
@ Pajamas. 4-5 of us perhaps. That's a strong turn out for Coventry believe me....
-
• #23
great stuff ;)
-
• #24
I'll be avoiding the rollers personally ;)
Marcus, I'm meeting Andy at Albany Cycles at 5:30. We'll head up to the station after that, so we'll be there around 6/6:15 easily.

after my initial excitment - i cant come through after all... :'(
Hi guys, just wanted to make sure everyone knew that the Midlands Rollapaluza heats were happening In Birmingham this coming Thursday. It's a bank holiday the next day and it looks to be a big night. It's happening at The Rainbow in Digbeth, Birmingham - it's really easy to get to from the train stations. Qualifiers start 6pm, everybody is encouraged to come down and have a go - there are often very fast racers hiding out there.. We're hoping Coventry represents along with the rest of the Midlands!
See you there..
