London Greenfair and Bikefest

Hi you all,

On June 4th and 5th the annual London Greenfair and Bikefest will happen http://www.londongreenfair.org/.

Because of the great success we had with the the London Bike Music Festival last year we have been asked back and also asked to contribute to the bikefest coming up with ideas and perhaps the Hackney Bikeworkshop doing classes but I thought opportunity so anyone up for organising the following?
An Alleycat around Regents Park
A skid competition
Veteran bike run,
A cycle chic show competition
Tall bike jousting
Any other bike activities you might come up with

Bikefest and Bicycle Music Festival 4 & 5th June
Following the massive success of the London Bicycle Music Festival last year pictures at [[/SIZE][/FONT]"]http://www.flickr.com/photos/funny_cyclist/sets/72157624019686535/](http://www.flickr.com/photos/funny_cyclist/sets/72157624019686535/[/COLOR) the London Greenfair and Camden cyclists have asked us back for two days on the 4th and 5th of June not only to provide the Bicycle Music Festival which this year will be based all the time at Regents Park but also to help with the Bikefest.

We are looking to expand the Bikefest this year to make it not only a Camden thing but to capitalise on the wonderful location to make it a festival of cycling for the whole of London.

We are not going to be able to do this without help so we are asking for volunteers to help on the days 4 and 5th June but also in the run up to the weekend.

**Can you help? **
We a looking for, Marshals, People to organise slow bicycle races, Alleycats, skid competitions, funny bike shows, best dressed bicycle competitions, People with knowledge of publicity.

The London Bikefest happening next weekend Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June as part of the London Greenfair needs you help.

We have a good core of volunteers but we still need people to help out stewarding the Bicycle Tournament and particularly to person several bicycle charity stalls over the weekend.

Also we have a few of contestants in the Bicycle Tournament which will include

Tallbike Jousting!

Bicycle Gymkhana games!

BMX Tossing!

Fit the 20 inch marathon plus on an extra wide bmx wheel contests!

Best Freakbike Contest!

Ultimate footdown!

Texas Twins!

And we will get a lot of contestants on the day but it is always good to have contestants before the event starts

The London Bicycle Music Festival and Bikefest happens this weekend in Regents Park as part of the London Greenfair http://www.londongreenfair.org/
There will be a full two days of bicycle powered music and bicycle related interest and fun
