Don't think it's that common, it's worth looking behind before stopping at a junction to see if any idiot think you're going to RLJ.

Not at all common but still worth avoiding. More bikes probably means more collisions but if you take care and keep the speed down they shouldn't hurt too much.
There has been one bike on bike fatality in London in the last 10 years. -

It was mental cycling along Embankment this morning... people, in general, are inconsiderate and disproportionately angry arseholes. Spring indeed.
Without insurance etc, are other cyclists liable (monetarily speaking) if they cause you to damage yourself / your bike?
I'm guessing small claims court is the only real course of action??
In the last two or three of weeks I have had a couple of near misses with other bikes - nearly creamed by a RLJ at a cross roads and nearly rear-ended when I stopped at a red.
Are bike on bike accidents common? Getting more common?
