RIP. Rode past the scene this eve and was hoping hard that it wasn't as bad as it looked. Big flatbed truck loaded up with timber stopped right across the angle of that junction. Don't want to speculate about what happened, all the bikes had to get off and walk around but I didn't have the heart to ask the police what had happened. Very very sad, thoughts with her family

Yes indeed. This is just too common. It seems like every week there's another cyclist killed by a lorry driver, though what Boris could do about it I'm not sure. There was an idea (can't remember who forwarded it) to ban all HGVs during morning and evenin rush hours, but this fatality was in the afternoon.
So sad, my condolences go our to her family and friends.

The sad thing is that the government don't think it's jusified to ban lorry in term of death/cost.

This is so awful. As many people killed whilst cycling in London as UK forces killed in action in Afghanistan this year. A real tragedy.

ffs! I saw this one too, I saw the accident aftermath 2 weeks ago as well. This is really getting me down. My commute seems to be peppered with awfulness.
Terrible terrible news - RIP

If correct, that is one hell of a statistic!! :(
