I'm wondering why the rear dérailleur gets a indexed lever adjuster and the front gets a barrel adjuster. Surely the lever adjuster is for trimming the front? Either way, these came fast and work a treat. Cheers, cheese.

Can't you just swap them over?

You can just swap them over but in the correct configuration the adjuster is at the bottom of the unit, swapped over the adjuster is at the top. This changes the angle of the cable so that it doesn't run parallel to the downtube. Cosmetic difference only I suspect but the angled cable run does look somewhat ugly.

I've bought some of these from Dutch Cheese before, just ordered some more!

Lever is for the right side / rear
Barrel for the left / front.

Basicalle, the lever works easier and faster on the ride.
One click should correspond with 1 full turn of a barrel if I remember well.
