A colleague has been brought to the dark side, she's super excited to be riding a bike now, but has been going through Evans to look for bikes because she can afford more on the installment plan. However. She's going to buy a Trek!!!

New bikes are a lot less hassle, and I've generally found Evans to be pretty good, at least the Bishopsgate store anyway. I'd take that bike over a beater any day. It probably flies too (not literally).

It's a decent enough bike TBF, though I doubt I'd ever buy a Trek, if she can afford £500, tell her to spend an extra £70 on a Langster Steel.

Yeah, I'm trying to steer her towards one of the plugs that is only £350. I just think spending £500 on that is ridiculous. Though there is this weird thing, the dropouts apparently can accommodate an internal gear hub? Unless I misunderstood the guy explaining, he was a foreigner and all. #notxenocomeon
