Teams: All UK teams are welcome, but this is not a "practice" tournament, please sign up if you want to represent the UK at the European Championships.
If possible, we will play a full round robin. If not, then probably a minimum of six games per team. So, if you don't think you can make the top 10, remember that every team will add an additional 6-10 games to the day. Thanks.

easy, just curious! just thought it would suck for the formatting if one team were incomplete..
what part of #notbeingadick didn't you get?

It was probably the Tree Frog bit that riled him.

Nice work TNT, I'm watching out for Ali...
Time to see which 10 UK teams will be going to Barcelona, this should be a great day.
Location: Newington (2 courts), see map of courts.
Format: Swiss Rounds, with the extremities being dropped off as the day goes on to ensure a completely accurate mid-table.
Teams: All UK teams are welcome, but this is not a "practice" tournament, please sign up if you want to represent the UK at the European Championships.
Registration: Register by adding your team name below. Registration closes on Monday the 11th of April at midday so we can schedule the tournament and do some dry runs with the tournament format.
Start time: The tournament starts at 9am, Londoners will be setting up and sweeping the courts, there will be a general meeting/brief at 9.30am, first game starts at 10am.
End time: We have light until 9pm, but with ~20 teams I imagine the tournament will end by 6pm or so.
Accommodation: Shout if you need accommodation in London and we'll try and sort something out.
The final team standings from this tournament will be used to send 10 teams to Barcelona. A team may retain their spot using the typical "2 of 3" players rule, otherwise the spot will be given up and passed down to the next eligible team (11th place, etc).
We'll need volunteer referees for the event and will be using the LHBPA's ruleset unless Alejandro's rules are released in time for us to use, please get in touch in good time if you have any questions about (or problems with) the rules.
