There is some info on the SE1 forum - looks like a collision with a "skip lorry". Unfortunately it does not look good, but best to wait for official reports.

Ah hell. Thoughts are with the downed rider. Anybody who commutes Jamaica road knows it can be quite hairy at times...hope this report is inaccurate.

There have been a couple of false (no fault of poster) reports recently, I hope this is another. -

Fuck.
Still hoping its not true.Be safe people.

:( ride this way a lot — thoughts go out.

Looks terrible. Another HGV-type vehicle too. SE1 has a haunting image of a lone bicycle and scattered belongings, which I find a little distressing. Hopefully they can remove that.

I hope it's not true, but it looks really bad. Commiserations to any friends and family of this guy.
The bike is an old silver/blue hybrid. The lorry a small skip carrier. The lorry was going left out of Jamaica road to Tanner st. The cyclist may have been aiming for the bus lane, going straight on towards Tooley st. It is a nasty junction at any time.

The whole London Bridge random one way/no way WTF system is a fucking joke and I saw yesterday that Borough High St is going to be shut down again until Xmas making the side streets even more effed.

I saw the personal effects of this poor person scattered along the road on my way back from a training session with my mate. Horrible especially as I can almost see this from my bedroom.
RIP
Yet monies are still getting cut for advance road training.

Horrible. Really confusing junction, wonder if this was a factor and whether it could be made safer.
SE1 is reporting a Rider down (possibly fatal) on Jamaica road/Tanner street.

Doesn't seem to be much else online, but hopefully the reports are mistaken.
