Hi, it's this one but in silver:
http://www.shinybikes.com/campagnolo-veloce-10sp-black-groupset-2011.html
Parts that confuse me are the BB, cranks, and cassette rear hub area. Haven't bought it just yet, but wanna get tooled up so I can fit it when I get it. Dunno if I need any other specific tools or not :/
All the tools I have are for Shimano fixed gear bike if that helps...

You'll need a tool for the cassette installation - just do a google search for Campagnolo Cassette tool, there's a bunch on the market for less than a fiver. They look like this kind of thing:-
You'll need a 14mm hex to install the Power Torque cranks, and if you ever want to remove them you'll need a special puller, but I dunno what it looks like.

Thanks, that's a good start!

You'll also need this for the BB:

(Didn't read properly)
If the new Veloce BB looks the same like the previous ones, you will need this:

OK, have just noticed you are about to buy 2011 cranks...
-
• #10
You may also want to consider one of these instead of forking out for an 11sp Campag chain tool...

Have you got all the cables? Buy the original Campagnolo ergo dedicated set - you don't need to cut much.
Invest in a pair of good cable cutters.

• #12
Hi, I have good cable cutters, I thought the cables came with it?
I'll have a look into that.
A cassette/BB tool that I could connect to my 18" socket bar would be sweet, though haven't seen any...

A socket (can't remember which size) will fit the tool

Just watched this:
http://www.campagnolo.com/jsp/en/servicevideo/videocatid_4_videoid_34.jsp
Er, that BB isn't the same as the above one is it? I'm totally gonna need to use my breaker bar to get it tight enough.
-

Campag installation instructions suggest 35 Nm.
They used to say install them hand tight with loctite 222....
-

@op - if you need to borrow any of the tools then I've probably got everything you need. (I'm not far from you either, I live in Beckenham).

Bloody hell, power-torque disassembly looks like such a fecking faff. Ultra-torque FTW.
-
• #18
Through my (fucking headache) research, I will need the following to do the job:
Campag tools:
UT-BB110
UT-BB130
UT-FC090
UT-BB080Possibly:
UT-VS030
UT-CN200Some spanners, hex bits, torx bits and a wrench. And a screwdriver.
What a fucking joke! That's a fuck load of money on tools. May have to reconsider Shimano, gonna keep researching.

Like I said up there ^, I've got most of those (mainly the Park Tool versions) and you're welcome to borrow them.
One of the reasons I stick with Campagnolo is because, over the 20 years or so of running it, you build up a collection of the tools required to work on it.
-
• #20
Don't bother with the chain tool. From my experience of Campagnolo assembly, the only tools you really need other than what's in a standard bike tool kit is the BB cup wrench and the Campag splined cassette tool.
-
• #21
All outboard bearing cups, regardless of manufacturer, have the same design so one tool fits all.
-
• #22
Thanks guys,
And thanks andyp, I'll keep that in mind. I won't have everything i need to put it all together for a few weeks.
-
• #23
Okay so I have ordered these:
UT-BB130 - BB cups tool
UT-BB110 - long hex bit
UT-BB080 - cassette bitAnd through reading about the stupid fucking chain, just about to order this:
http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/18/kmc_kl10a/kmc-10-speed-campagnolo-chain-link.html£8.49!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christ.
Think that should be all I need with what I have. I know it'll be a headache doing it all myself.
Can anyone shed any light on what the hell this is and how it actually works? And will I need it?

That's for getting a rear gear aligned. Unless your frame is bent, you won't need it.

Hi, can someone tell me what tools I will need to install the above groupset, I have no experience with geared bikes and have never owned any Campag before.
Their tools confuse the hell outta me...
