I saw a couple of those 4/5 months back. Which was around the time I ordered some items from Chain Reaction Cycles. Gonna ring my bank now.

me and my gf have had cards reissued after fraud was detected in the last few day (stopped before money taken out). This could explain the coincidence - we both bought stuff on CRC recently.

Iv not bought anything from them that recently, but my online statement is shit and takes like a week to show anything.

the same happened to me last week, I'll check through the last few months of statements later though just to double check.

My friend's card was done a few days back, just asked and he did use CRC a week or so ago.
His bank called to see if it was genuine on the same day the O2 transaction was made so seems they are well aware of the pattern so recovering money should be straight forward.

I've had 2x O2 top ups and 2x Vodafone top ups totalling £70... My bank has refunded while they investigate, but I'm going to call them with this info. I did a CRC order on the 1st March, and had 2 transactions the day after, and 2 over the following 10 days.
CRC have posted a statement around some of the common bike forums, see the last post here:
http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/crc-security-issues/page/16
I'm emailing them now. Might as well, so they get an idea for how many people are affected. Not details about what's happened though.

Apparantly not. CRC will not have had access to your card details.

Just rang HSBC, they know about this particular CRC problem as they've had other people call about it.

^^this. The only reason your bank balance will be low is excess :(

I seem to have escaped unscathed. But I did recently have my CC replaced because I broke it. I hope that's what's protecting me.
