Wanted: Loan: Bike Bag to go to OZ and back.

Hi,

Friend of mine now moved to Oz, wants his bike really bad. His Mum and sister are going over to visit him, so does anyone have a bike box/bag/whatever I can borrow mid April for a fortnight, and then they'll bring it back?

There'll be beer money of course. Cheers.

Here's a pic of them back in 2008. Some of you might know Pat. Don't judge him on the hat. It's a Roberts track frame so you can understand why he misses it...

Ben, I really don't rate bike bags. Just get a bike box from your LBS and cover it in a roll or two of duck tape to make it a little stronger and prevent it from falling apart when wet, package it correctly and put old hubs/axles to strengthen the forks/stays.

This is way better than bike bags!

Also roll length of carboard or two that are the same width as the box and wedge these between the two sides of the box inbetween the triangles of the frame to prevent crushing.
