I have access to a vast colour printing/photocopying empire. Also interested in contributing, but no idea in what way...
-

Contribution could be (in no way is this exhaustive): photos, drawings, an interview with yourself/your favourite cyclist, a map of a ride route, how to make your own jig for DIY stuff, an anecdote of a funny incident/accident, a haiku about your pompino if you really really want....

i'd like to offer a snap-shot of my post ride eating habits......

ok..id like a feature on one of my weekend training rides but the person that writes it has to take part.Id also like to contribute with anything frame building related
-
• #10
^^That would be great.

So, I'm definitely not writing that then Perks. Frame building would be really interesting. Fin's photos of your workshop are really nice so maybe you could just write a bio? Technical drawing?

I have an idea which I'll work on. Not sure yet. Would love to contribute photos if they were up to scratch also.

Crayons are too technical for zines.

Just to chip in, Thomas and I have a pretty comprehensive idea for a zine/book.
It's going to cover many aspects for bhm bike culture and will be a combination for prose and photos.
I love zines but i think they are often limited by their scattergun execution. We wanted something more cohesive yet holistic. -

I'm up for having work in both, either or none - as you editors see fit.
Obviously I have a camera, we all know that, but I also draw and write, and on occasion hum doom metal tunes while underwater. Use whatever you want from that amazing set of skills. -

I say BOOOO to the whole 1991-grunge/surly-esque photocopied zine look.
I think your getting at the same think Fin, this souldnt be a "zine" for the sake of creating all of the dull cliche's. Lets put together a jolly good little book. With mothafuckenfullcolourpictures!
That is all...

Worth checking out http://www.boneshakermag.com/faqs/
Lots of us have talked about doing one for a while now so let's get the ball rolling...
We've set the date for Birmingham Zine Festival (8th-10th July), so it would be cool if some of us could get something together before then. We all have varied talents and have done cool stuff in the past so it shouldn't be hard. If you'd like to collab, have ideas, etc then please get 'em down. Any takers?
