Goldsprint Frames

I'm on the verge of ordering one of the new Goldsprint track frames:

But as is the case anytime I'm gearing up to spend more than £20 on something, I'm struggling to decide whether or not to take the leap.

So I thought I'd consult the oracle and ask you all if anybody has any experience with the company? The tubing (Columbus Thron)? I wouldn't usually go for a brand new frame but I do really like this.

In short, I think it looks teh biz but is it any good (for the price - €349)?

Are Goldsprint frames related to the roller racing 'Goldsprints' or is it just a coincidence?

I don't think so, it's just the name of the shop in Germany. But roller racing is all I get when I search Goldsprint.

Cheaper than a Brothers, and I'm pretty sure I remember someone saying in a discussion about the brothers frames that there tubing was comparable to Thron? Maybe.

It definintely looks better than the Brothers frames. And for the money not sure what else it's competing against. Go for it...then I can have a goes on it :P

Looks pretty good to me, love the finish. Tbh at that price you can't go that wrong...

Build quality looks really nice for the price. That seat tube just bugs me though.

Not a fan of the forks, but thats just personal preference. For the money they look pretty decent and the raw finish is sweet

Good. Thron is the lowest in the columbus range but by no means bad.....Get one....maybe with a close rake fork?
