^you dirty rascal!
Sorry to pull you up on this HatBeard but if you'll permit me to enlighten you as to the true nature of our relative status vis a vis my 'in fort' location and your 'not in fort' situation. I would have to insist that in fact it is yourself who is the dirty rascal whereas i myself am the king of the castle.

Anyone got a pic of Fiddy's?
I'm pretty sure the one Cake posted was Fiddy's. Even though it was Cakes First. And now is cakes again?
Confusled. -

^ I did think it looked familiar - same forks too. Although I thought the graphics on Fiddy's were slightly different?
Fiddy was the one who convinced me about Forts!

these are the mudguards, they were on sale for about a tenner when I bought them too which was nice ;)
ye the forks do look nice but unfortunately loads of the lacquer is chipping off so i had to cover them in tape -

is anyone using chaintugs on theirs? i tried to put some cheap ones on this morning but the drop outs were too short and I was left with almost no room when i installed them.

Not sure if I really belong in this thread but as a forum newcomer thought I ought to say hello! My own Fort is a geared job, namely the cyclo-cross model in Columbus Foco steel. Had it 6 years now and was secondhand when I bought it. Brilliant frames, though - workmanship is A1 and the paintwork as tough as old boots.

Looking good, glad it went to someone who really appreciates it :)

finished building mine today, will be uploading a picture tomorrow. Lovely stuff.
There seem to be quite a few of us with bikes built around the Fort track frames (the 'original' '7005' ones, not the naff ones they're selling in the States these days). So here's a repository for us to, among other things, post pictures of our Fort bikes and revel in the warm glow of Fort ownership. If Steamrollers and those ridiculous Pompinos get their own thread, we should get one too.
I love my Fort. Hate the original forks though - hence some replacement carbon ones.
