Cassette is 8 speed, but you could run 9 or 10 as it's 130 spacing (Right?).
Wrong I'm afraid. Campagnolo changed the spline design when moving from 8 speed to 9 speed so 8 speed wheels are incompatible with later 9, 10 and 11 speed cassettes.

Cool, thanks for the info, will update now.

No problem. Good luck with the sale, they look in mint condition.

Unless of course you simply insert an extra 8 speed cog.

Are those tubular or clinchers? I'd like to replace tubular Shamals.
-

Clincher. (Probabaly one of those important things I should've thought about when writing the description!)

Yep, it matters when used more often than on Sunday or for training/racing (with 8 speed?).
Lovely wheelset. I'd buy it, but I'll be away until the 28th. If you're in a hurry, I can't help you (and myself)

can it fit 6 speed? I am looking fo a better set of wheels for my 1984 de rosa.
this ones may be too modern for it though. -
• #10
It depends on the freewheel, Tika. They were two kinds of Campy 8 speed hubs with different cutouts.
-

I don't understand anything, I know that my bike can only fit 6 speed.

Huh bigtwin? I think you're kidding aye? Enlighten me if not

this ones may be too modern for it though. The ventos hub will have a 130mm hub width I suppose, but you're de rosa will be 126mm I'm guessing, so you'd need to 'cold set' the frame so that the dropouts are 130mm (force the thing to fit) steel is forgiving but de rosas are a bit nice to be jamming things into IMO

Bought but never used myself. Can't justify having them gathering dust.
Amazing wheelset. Cassette looks NOS, wheels can't have seen many miles at all, very minimal wear to both braking surfaces.
I have tried to capture the worst of the wear in the photos.
Needless to say both run perfectly true for near eternity.
Cassette is 8 speed, but you could NOT run 9 or 10 as they changed the spline design!

Yerai has already expressed interested in a wanted thread however would need posting to Sweden which I'd rather not.
