Mallet making session

does anyone fancy meeting up to make some mallets? ive never made one and dont have the facilities at home plus it'd be good to have some help for the first one. i suggest either meeting up at someones house or alternatively, we can use the workshop at my work. we've got drills, hole saws, vices etc there, so it's pretty ideal.

let me know your thoughts.

i dont need a mallet right now but am happy to come along and lend a hand

a couple of templates i made a while back for making mallets if they're any use, print (make sure you don't print "fit to page") cut out, stick on to pipe and use as a guide to help get the shaft & bolt holes in the right place, the drillings are up to you, alter as necessary...

Can anyone print out a few of my template number 3 before tomorrow...? I forgot to do them at work yesterday.... I can supply spray mount to stick them on...!

I've got enough for about 4-5 short mallet heads

i've got a little bit of pipe lying around. I'll bring it in.

i've got spray mount and printers at work as well

also, just remembered i was meant to go clas ohlson to pick up bolts and screws. guess we'll have a look tomorrow to see how many we need, they're literally just down the road

I have yellow and black pipe, enough for about 7 mallets. So is it 12 at your work yeah?

Also anyone got hockey tape...? If not clas ohlson for that too...
