dammit. there's been quite a few of these on here lately. i'm building one up with a shimano 600 group at the moment. worked out yesterday that it's going to cost me in the region of £450 to finish... now there's a near identical bike, ready to roll, for £50 cheaper... hmmmmm.
*resists.
have a bump though.

i'm shopping for a friend of mine and might be interested
please could you give me a little more info on the components?as much of the following as possible would be brill:
which 600 group is it, and if any components are from different groups, which?
crank arm length and chainring sizes and condition
freewheel make/model/size
stem brand/model/size
bar brand/model/size
are there any chips, scuffs or dents of any significance? a bit more about the condition would be great- it's not that easy to tell from photos.

Hi,
Bike is in pretty decent nick, owned by friends for over 15 years.. some corosion marks here and there..no dents of any significance.
Crank arm length driveside is 9.5 cm
bars and stem 3TTT. stem 12cm bars 42.5
The only no Shimano components are the Campagnolo Lambda rims, seat post (unknown) and headset ( Stronglight)
I cannot accurately date the groupset as I'm no Shimano sage..but I would presume mid eighties as derailleurs not the ornate arabesque style..more like a Campy Victory
hope this is helpful ) -

thanks! i've forwarded details to my friend.
one last question, are the shifters indexed? and if so, are they indexing ok over the freewheel/cassette?
sorry, that's 2 questions really.
