Loose Bar Tape

Hi all,

I've found that after yesterday's downpour my normally well stuck fizik tape has become loose...so much so it seem the adhesive strip is no longer stuck to the bars and the tape is free to move around.

Is this due to my own inability to tape properly or a mix of riding in the pouring rain and cranking on the bars?

Any idea/tips would be great

Possibly a taping technique issue, if pulled tight when being wrapped it should not shift in use.

I do wonder why your cranks are attached to the bars.

Was it taped outwards or inwards, from outside to the inside or the opposite?
Use PVC tape to secure the ends.

Thanks guys. I can only assume I didn't pull it tight enough while I was taping it initially... I've taken it off and started again, this time really twisting it as it went on.

random twists will not make for a comfortable grip
