I need to put my road bike up for sale as its just not getting used. The spec is as follows:

 *Pomino frame and fork 54cm blue
* Handbuilt Mavic Open Pro CD rims on System Ex Flip Flop hub(rear)/Shimano 105 (front)  32 hole with double butted spokes
* FSA Vero chainset with 170mm cranks. The gearing is 44 x 18.
* Avid Shorty cantilever brakes
* Nitto Noodle handlebars with Toshi genuine Leather bar tape
* Tektro Brake levers
* On One Smoothie Headset
* San Marco Rolls saddle
* Oval R710 adjustable stem
* Continental Contact 28mm tyres and Surly chain tensioner
* SKS Chromoplastic mudguards

£150 for the frame and wheels sounds like a good price. frame is about £150 new innit?

You could get £100 for the wheels and £100 for the frame and forks (£185 new). £300 for the whole bike is fair.

£150 was originally being offered for the whole bike minus the cranks, bars and saddle.

I didn't want most of the other stuff but didn't list it all. Although I did list more than that ^

I think it's a fair price also but it's also fair to make offers.

Either way, still being advertised on pinkbike, like.

Either way, I've posted the ad in the polo forum to help with the sale. Pomps are V popular, I'm sure you'll have no problems selling this.

I'm looking for a new polo bike as my own one is showing its limitations at this stage, but I already have pretty much everything except a frame, and On One do brand new frames (with a lot of extras) for only £200.
I'm living near enough to Peckham. Where in Lewisham are you?

I'm ignoring/gazumping/whatever antibard's dibs "for a friend" because I asked a question first about availability to clarify, so I could bid/dib, I didnt understand Wicksie's remark about it being resolved, before anyone gets ratty.

The resolved part is JV said I made a cheapskate offer when we'd already established that it wasn't.

i thought provisional dibs with a firm answer within a couple of hours would generally take priority over an availability question.

either way, unfortunately my friend has looked into his finances and can't afford it right now so regretful undibs - sorry.

Apologies for the delay in replying. Not been on a computer all weekend.

I'm based in Brockley, 5/10 min walk from Brockley station. Can always chuck the bike in the car and meet up.

Price is negotiable, £250 is a bit lower than I was hoping for but I'm sure we can work something out.
