I would say I am 95% likely to go to this. I'd love to play especially if there is a wildcard tournament but even if not I'll still go (and take my polo bike this time for throw ins). To be honest it's a week in Barcelona which is a good enough deal. The fact that there is polo and a bunch of awesome dudes is a bonus.

Its on the same weekend as Strawberry fair, a major earner for me

I think it's fairly unlikely that I am going to do the Worlds. All of the events are too far apart and I can't get two months off work to be a polo hobo. This is an almost definite.

lets ride there, or train? bit of an adventure to get there, riding will take about 10 days of hard riding and getting are polo bikes sent, but means we get to ride the pyrenees -hayden-

but does mean that you will have to take at least 10days+5 days for the tourney....but you only live once...

or train would take maybe a day. but costs £202, but could stop in paris for one night for some pre euros throw ins!

Plane is cheap, but causes problems getting from the airport. Apparently it's about 80km away (so I've heard) and there are no trains, so you're at the mercy of the bus-drivers if you want to take a bike.

I'm operating under the assumption that there will be a wildcard tournament. General consensus seems that way. I'd go for that. I'd try to play more throw-ins at courts around the city, too. More than worthwhile.

Decisions, decisions...

There are two airports I believe, Ryanair flies to one miles away but Easyjet flies to Barcelona City airport. I was supposed to go there last year for a music festival but had to cancel, I might be completely wrong. The train sounds cool though.

I've booked time off work (~10 days riding) and plan to cycle most of the way.. thinking train to paris then ride the rest..
Unfortunately I couldnt get time off after the event to ride back rather than riding there.
Fen boy three would be best but whatever we can muster in terms of teams is fine with me.
