Hi,
Is your Matamp 100 still up for sale or has someone prized it from you? -

Hi Gibsonrelic - I can't PM you but the amp is repaired and ready to be moved on. I've updated hott jon and he has first dibs but let me know if you want a blast if he pulls out. Kickass.

Oh btw this isn't a Matamp 100, it's absolutely boutique.

So many moons ago I was in a kind of prog/stoner/metal band. We were obviously well into our valve amps and we ended up being lucky enough to get in on the ground floor with the Matamp guys, before everyone got such a huge fetish for them.
Anyway, we spent over two grand getting these three heads from them, two boutique twin-channel guitar amps, and one 200w bass amp. We made no friends at our rehearsal room whatsoever with those things - they were utterly obscene. Heavy, loud, and had this really sweet bottom end that would just go right through you.
So I've not been in a band for the last five or six years and much as though I'd like to keep this thing as a kind of keepsake, it's a pretty heavy and unused keepsake, so I'm letting her go.
It's an extremely rare example (I can only find four worldwide, including this one) of a true twin channel Matamp. The closest I have in terms of blurb is this from Planet of the Amps, who (mistakenly) refer to them as the only two in existence:
http://www.planetoftheamps.com/red-2chan-amp.html
The one I'm selling is slightly different in that it has an FX loop and no bias switch, but other than that it's pretty much the same.
here are some pics:
Blue book on those amps above in the condition mine is in (clean and pretty much perfect, just serviced by Dave Green at Ashdown, who built the thing) is $1400-$1800. I'm looking for £600 but will consider ONOs if a) your band doesn't suck or b) you're a mate etc.
Would also consider swapping for a serious DSLR and gubbins worth a similar amount. Kickass.
