I have a nice touring bicycle available I bought from Hilary Stone a month back. It was a rather impulsive buy and the top tube is a tad to long for my short arms.
Here is the original advert:
DAVERUSSELL TOURER Reynolds 531 double butted tubing
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a rather good light tourer built by DaveRussell in the early 1980s - the frame is gorgeously constructed from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. It is is equipped with a SR triple chainset (rings are the same BCD as Stronglight 99, 100 - 86mm) with a small inner ring of 28T. The middle 36T ring is quite well worn but I can supply a replacement. Gears are Suntour with Simplex retrofriction down tube levers and it has a 6spd freewheel. Brakes are Weinmann. The frame is in excellent condition and has braze-ons for a rear rack. Rims are Mavic and hubs are Specialized. £175
I changed the middle chain-ring whilst also updating the breaking system with a more modern 3 point beak levers, removing the old-school suicide brakes!
I also added some Gold Cinelli handlebar type and a brand new pair of Schwalbe Marathon 28's for winter conditions. I will also supply a set of sks mudguards which I bought but removed as there was slight rub on the front, either the tyres were to wide or the rims need truing.
With a bit of work this could be a great touring bicycle, nearly there, nonetheless a great bicycle.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
