  • Bikeworks offers accredited cycle mechanics training (http://www.bikeworks.org.uk/cycle-maintenance-courses.php) to City and Guilds Standards* and also an introductory wheel building course*, is anyone here interested in courses in the next couple of months?
PM Digger with any questions or to book.

    *20% discount to Forumites.

  • Mmmmm, discount...

  • Want to keep this bumped to gauge current interest...

  • Still have tax to pay next week.
Can't see the future at the moment.

I'll probably end up doing the cycling [strike]proficiency[/strike] instructor's course instead.

  • Kris if you want to do Cycle Instructor Training course, book NOW! The bursary is being cancelled, book now and you will get trained.

  • ^Same goes for anyone else.

  • Yes! You have till the end of March to get the bursary. There will be thread about it on the Cycle Training forum.

  • Shit. I'll get in touch on Monday.

  • So, anyway anyone with an ambition to be a mechanic?

  • Bump.

Booked my course and applied for bursary. Thanks, D.

  • Hi Guys, just doin' the bump from the 70's, join in if you want...

  • You're gonna wake one morning as the sun greets the dawn...

  • So far I judge the level of interest on the Forum about this to be low, any comments?

  • I'd love to do this, geography won't allow it though.

  • I like the idea of a course, but nobody lets me do nuffin until i'm 16... sniff returns to miniclip

  • Any idea of somewhere that provides the course up North (Leeds)

    Bump

  • Off to band rehearsal, will check later...

  • bump

  • I would definitely do this. If I could afford it.

  • How much?

  • Cost: £890 plus VAT (includes cost of registration and certification)

    before discount

  • So, 20% sounds like a substantial discount. You can take away the same amount theVAT would add on top.

  • wow.. how long does the course run for..?

  • 10 days. And you're a trained mechanic after that.
You can go and start a company like Caramel Bikes or something and actually know what you're doing..

  • Thanks Kris for that.
