  • this would be cool. why not a sunday though? could get alot more playing time in?

  • Awesome. Some guys from Norwich also said recently they'd like to come down at some point.

  • cool! hope they can come, i'll make sure i'm there earlier than normal if they make the effort to come!

  • Hey!

We're aiming for the 26th now. Likely to be two groups, one arriving around 6.30/7pm, the other probably an hour later. Would you guys be up for staying til 10.30-11ish so it's worth the drive?

  • Sounds good to me , hopefully court will be finished by then

    Definitely!

  • Cool - looks like we have one car-load sorted. We'll keep you posted.

  • this is going to be awesome!

  • I smell mighty boosh...

  • I got talking to Ste from Manchester and he's up for a visit to indoor polo heaven. He is talking to the manc players and figuring out numbers for a possible weekend visit. Thread below:

  • Message received re:clean tyres. We'll give 'em a good scrub. Looks like there's only three of us so-far, but two more maybes. Cool?

You guys have inspired me - I've been scouting for more courts, emailed commercial estate agents, hassling people for sponsorship etc etc.

  • nice one dan.

i would've thought brum would be packed full of disused warehouses? we are now experts in the field. it helps if the building is earmarked for demolition, maybe look at your local planning searches, see what buildings are going to be knocked down for development in the coming months and contact the developer direct, nobody is refusing easy cash these days. travelodge are putting up posh bedrooms all over the place at the moment, their website is actually quite good and shows what's going on where.

  • Did you tell Dan they must clean their tyres ?

  • nobody is refusing easy cash these days.

We're trying to get it free (ambitious) on account of empty buildings cost their owners loads of money in rates, which can be excempted if the building is used by a non-profit organisation.

    Clean tyres! Okay!

  • The surface on our court is so sticky it really isn't necessary to clean them . Bogey is winding you up .

  • Okay, three of us are definitely coming over. When's the earliest we could arrive? We can leave Brum any time after around 2pm, so if enough of you lot have an early finish we could be there from 4pm-ish.

Can't wait to play on a grippy surface. It's been either leafy, icy, or just sopping wet in Brum for as long as I can remember.

  • we usually start at 6pm, but i could come at like 4-5 not sure about anyone else though.

  • i will be about but not untill 6 time

  • Angelo maybe could let you in ?

  • No rush. If we aim to get there for 6, is that good?

  • That'll be fine . I can't get there any earlier but maybe someone on here can ?

  • im pretty sure josh said on tuesday he was planning to at least take a half day, if not a whole day off work for wednesday. it might be worth him confirming that, as i'm sure you guys would rather come down earlier.

  • plus, work is slow for me at the moment so i might take advantage and leave early too. if i could grab a set of keys off someone i could do the honours.

  • i can come down anytime after 4ish
