• wow - check the length of that head tube

57 on top tube and c. 62 on the seat tube (i had dreams of riding this on the track with those numbers it sounded just about right)

    • but front takes 650c - front forks have brake hole but are circle section (track forks).

see on one pic i've laid over line on my floor to show the angle it will ride at (although it's tipped a little back off the line making it look a touch slacker than it is) it has a level top tube

i've no idea of builder only campag dropouts and ends plus world champ stripe stickers

    chrome is very good.

BB will not conform to velodrome height - being around 10. 5 "

it'l be right for 5'9" to 6'2" give or take i reckon - it's not as big as the headtube makes it look and it's a low pro - but will ride at quite a civilised height - good excuse to get a severe stem on there. i think it's a pursuit frame so will likley ride pretty much like a normal racer i'd have thought

  • yeah, that's what i was going to suggest
    turn that fork around =))

  • wow never heard of that before - what a weird thing - thanks george B - will it handle like a normal track bike with fork the right way around?

found a little on you tube - they allow it at here hill :

anyone fancy a go down south?

  • dibs ... pm on its way

  • ^do you have a 24" front fetish?

  • more like a stayer fetish :D

  • revised pic of frame as should be -

wheel base is 94 to 96 depending on where your rear is in the track ends

also another thing i've realized - with forks this way it should have BB of 11 inches! - looks like it's track legal again -hooray

also where it's drilled for a brake - it could be used for brake but i'm pretty sure now that 'll be to take a strut up to the end of the long stems often used.

  • link dleted

  • more details on frame - unsure of date but it was made by doche sport belgium,

and was built for willie bosche for some sort of world championships

i'm not sure on the spelling of these names -

  • douche sport :)

  • The Belgian shop is Dossche Sport

    (thanks hilary)

  • that's probably not a brake hole, i think there is often a strut from the bars to the fork on that type of bike. like this

    BUMP

  • the stayer has left the forum.

no longer for sale here - i've moved it to a popular auction to site to sell instead
