I'm looking for an F C Parkes Bicycle or frame, preferably in size 59/60cm, but any also any other size is welcome too.

Thanks very much for the offer, and I can see you have done your research, in that Sun cycles were made by FC Parkes, but it is definitely an FC Parkes I am after. (I already have a Sun Solo to my name!)

I may be related. My Dad's side of the family (all called 'Parkes') were tool makers in Birmingham, working in factories, over the last two centuries, in Aston, where FC Parkes' factory/shop was located. My great grandfather was an orphan, so it's hard to know for sure, but I am in contact with his Grandson, so we are researching it. That is why I want a frame though, in case there is a connection..

I was just reading the forum and you said you might have had family related to the cycle company . I may be able to fill in some blanks as I am also related to the family through my mothers side.
I also am looking for a FC Parkes for my son .
