If you have the time the Glass Flowers at the Harvard Peabody museum, they are 100 years old and mind blowing (the museum has other things worth seeinf also but do the flowers first).
The Maparium at the Christian Science Church main office building next to the mother church off Mass ave. near Copley Square. It is an 18 foot stain glass globe made in the 30's and is a mini wonder.

if you've vegetarian, i most thoroughly recommend grashopper restaurant, in allston (north beacon st)

TC's Lounge. It is the best dive bar in Boston. Tony, the guy who owns it looks nails and is a proper tough guy but really nice after a few drinks! Great duke box, good times.

Made it to lunch at Union, in the South End. Enjoyed the corn bread. The Ether Dome at Mass Gen. was also on the list, but couldn't make it. Impressed by the number of cyclists out in the snow.

Still there? I'm from Boston (and was there for the holidays) and could suggest a few good places to eat.
