Sorry, hijacking this thread as I'm a newbie to the forum and cant create a new thread.
I have Wolber 58 super champion back wheel that I am looking to convert. I've got a lock ring (1.29" x 24 TPI) but looks like the diameter is too small.
Any idea what size I should get?

The hub could be anything, as Super Champion is the model of rim. It's a pretty old road rim, so I suspect the hub is just a standard old school screw-on-free-wheel type, which would mean it has no lock ring thread.
If there are two threads, one large, closest to the spokes, and one slightly smaller, reverse thread on the outside, you're in business. If there is only one thread, you can only really go single speed.
You can put a single cog on it, but you won't be able to secure it properly. Some people use lock-tight but it's not a great idea.

you can't convert a normal freewheel type wheel to a fixed gear. You can make it single speed, but it doesn't have the smaller diameter, left handed thread used for the lock ring.
If you examine your lock ring you will see the threads are actually left hand. This is in opposition to the right hand thread of the cog. without these opposing threads, there is no way to lock the cog on, and it can run off the hub when trying to slow down.
Lots of people have tried lots of things, but i consider them all to be very unsafe.
the threads are easily seen on one side of this hub.
Anyone know where I can get new chainring bolts for my stronglight chainwheel.
They are hollow capscrews, with a castelated locking ring rather than a hex bolt on the inside.
They work fine, just rusty,as most of the fastenings on my HH are, if only the Tw*t that had it before me had not left it outdoors,so frustrating, everything works, just looks crap.
I see that there are quite a few chainring bolts on ebay, are they fairly universal ,eg all the same o/d , and is the counterbore in the chainwheels universal ?
