Raise seatpost without scratching it?

Ok I tried a few difrent searches but nothing..

we all seen the siksak scratches on seatposts that have been adjusted.. but I just wonder if it is any way to higher your seatpost withing leaving a massive scratch?

was thinking maybe leave some extra grease and pull up stright, but not sure if that would leave me with a long sthright scratch instead..

file the inside of the tube/or get it reamed, then plenty of grease in there

Also some seatposts are made to slightly different tolerances than a perfect 27.2mm so even a reamed seattube (furious tile's shop mechanic did mine) and a fat seatpost might have problems. My black Ultegra seatpost is a right mess.
