This 31st December, will be the first anniversary of the passing of a giant of a man.

To celebrate his life, and the enormous gap he left behind, the following ride.....

5:30 - 6:45 Coach and Horses, Clapham, SW4 7EX (home of South Drinks)

7:30 - 9:00 West Drinks, W6 8HJ

9:00 - 12:00 Sloaney Poney (aka The White Horse) Parsons Green, SW6 4UL

to raise a toast on the anniversary at middnight.

Dress code; 1970 Pro team jackets, rolled up jeans, team caps.

              Italian bling bikes.

in further honour of the great man, repair kits will be limited to one leaver, a tube with a hole, a single patch, with no pump or glue.

Paul once told me that he only had one bike with a set of clinchers on.. Never ever saw him with a spare tub.

Has been mentioned countless times but his attitude was epitomised by the time he turned up to South beers on a TT bike in jeans and t-shirt after a little pootle over from Parson's Green..

I can't make this ride, however much i would like to, but i would like to wish all those who do all the best, and have a good day, and to have a drink on my behalf for dear old Fiddy.

Still admire him thoroughly.

Wish I could make this ride, but it's impossible. I think it might end up being legendary.
