What's the difference between a drum machine and a drummer?
-
• #9
you only have to punch your instructions into a drum machine once!
how do you tell when the drum riser is level?
(sorry 'guapo can't help with the ride)

It's all about the ride.

your new band name.
sorry dude. honestly, if i do come across anything on my travels i will let you know. if you're genuinely in a fix, lots of rehearsal places sell on used stuff for pennies or even give it away. i know scar in camden have a "drum centre" who do that. the whole of one garden wall is lined with cracked cymbals. could do worse than give them a call.

Strange, was about to recommend scar.
You'll find that unless drummers hoard all their old kit then you wont find anything from a drummer, more somewhere that sells equipment. My ride is the most expensive cymbal I own and I don't let anyone touch it, well I don't let anyone touch any of my cymbals. Maybe worth ringing around a couple of drum shops. I'm sure somewhere like wembley drum centre or that one in Denmark street have some ex-show cymbals or ex-demo cymbals lying around. -

I have Zildjian K Dark Jazz Ride 20" - Would be open to offers, but its not a cheap jobby...
Saying "I need a cheap ride" could mean so many things on this forum, but in fact I do. Are there any defunct drummers here that might have a ride and stand sitting in their basement, loft or closet that you might let go of? If so, let me know!
