For Sale: Price Drop TV - (Thorn Fixed Frame)

Ok so this frame is currently for sale in the classifieds as I am moving to Paris and as my moving date gets closer and closer I thought I'd try something a bit different....

Basically the price on the frame is going to drop by about a £1 every hour until it's sold
or until we get to the end of the weekend (moving out time)

Thorn 54cm fixed frame

*It's a beautiful slightly metallic british racing green and impressively light. It got a few scrapes and a small dent on the top tube from polo (about the size of a penny) but appart from that is in good condition and brilliantly made.

Just the frame is for sale and it comes with a BB & Headset cups fitted.

This is a handmade one off frame made by framebuilders Thorn cycles in Somerset. It measures 56cm top tube, 62cm down tube, 54cm seat tube, made from Reynolds tubing.

Gorgeous bike - I adore that headbadge. If I was only 4cm shorter in the leg department I'd have it off you. Good luck with the sale.

Mudguards eyes? Can't quite tell from the pics

I'm not 100% sure to be honest, it was made within the last 5 years if that helps?
Indeed it has Mudguard eyes. It also has bottle brackets (over and under) and eyelets for paniers etc.

Your assuming there would only be one person interested in the item. Just like any auction, is requires at least two potential buyers. One person maybe waiting for it to reach £100, but the other might yell "buy!" at £150.

we could have a separate thread- where we run a pool to guess when it sells?
and DFP i don't-think about it this way, regardless of number of people- they could all wait and then all pm at the last possible minute.

It's basically a auction version of chicken, so yeah people can wait but if they wait too long then someone else might have got there just before, and as it's first come first served and there is only one of them then the longer people leave it the less their chance of getting it.

I like the idea of a separate thread where people guess the price it'll sell for, I might offer a set of cranks I'm selling as the prize?

if you put the cranks up as a prize, and they get the bike for the price they wanted- they get the frame-at a bargain price AND some cranks-
