The way i understand it is that some can play polo and then come for food, others can come for food.

they did say "limited heating options" which I guess means microwave. Lalou and I confirmed it with Mark last night! 21st of December. Tuesday polo beforehand. Bring empty tummies and a plate of food!
Here's what's being brought:- Julia - the sweet stuff(aka CAKE)
- PK - thinking
- Chukker -
- MAX - yorkshire puddings
- Moog - probably a chickpea salad and some nibbley things
- Jono - savory tarts
- Gormley-er jollyness
- mark - an empty stomach.
Here's a list of things to make:
-salads are good
-nachos and salsa
-bread rolls and butter
-finger food
-STUFFING!
-fresh fruit
-some sort of pud but keep in mind that I'm trying to make a polo cake!Whatever you bring it'll be fine as long as you bring your fine selves down to celebrate and awesome year gone by and what an excellent new year it's going to be (ahem worlds in seattle!)

Q: Is this likely to be the only Xmas polo do?
Awkward time and location-ness for me, but would like to have some festive beers.

Hey you guys!
In the spirit of xmas we've come up with the idea of a Christmas potluck at the George Orwell the week before. The tentative date is Tuesday the 21st (which should be confirmed tonight) Anyone interested?
Julia
In case I have to define it:
Pot luck: A potluck is a gathering of people where each person or group of people contributes a dish of food to be shared among the group. Synonyms include: potluck dinner, spread, Jacob's join, Jacob's supper, faith supper, covered dish supper, pitch-in, carry-in, bring-a-plate, fuddle.
So let's have a Xmas fuddle with each other
