wd40, gt85, make sure to lube the lock mechanism, as well as the key. Turn the key in the barrel a couple of times, lockinbg and unlocking it, and it should be all good. I've got a particularly temperamental abus that sticks, just from it being out in all weathers.

wd40, gt85 etc are supposed to stick in your lock if you use them too much. i had an evolution mini that kept getting stuck to the point where i almost binned it. i had been using wd40 for a while but it just wasn't doing the job (for very long, it would work but just not last). one blast of graphite and it hasn't been an issue since. that was about a year ago now.
so +1 for graphite

I use the mini, mini one on my motor bike and it kept on sticking, even before the snow. Rubbed lots of lithium greese on the contact points and it's been fine.
Altho, if its the actual lock thats sticking, some sprays maybe better.

Yeah, what we need is some mad bar tape reviewing action ;)
On a more serious note. Dont they sell those small spray cans of lock defroster over there? Usually see them in 15mL cans, so you can have them handy.
So I leave my lock at work as its too heavy to cart around. Monday I get into to find it stuck solid, a cup of hot water later and all is well but is there anyway I can prevent this, at the moment its at home drying on a radiator. Will a dry lube stop this in the future ?
What do others do ?
