For Sale: Batavus Professional roadbike 55cm

Used but still very nice Batavus Professional frame of Columbus tubing with great 2x8 speed Shimano 600 STI group.

Very nice bike of the late 80ties made of famous Columbus tubing with nice red coloured paint. Ofcourse it has some chips and a few small scratches of use but no serious rust or dents or dings. The cromed fork has some minor spickels and is not as shiny as it was in the early days when you have a close look. The chroom on the chainstay is average with some rusty spickels.

Seat tube: 55 cm (c-t)
Top tube: 56 cm (c-c)
head tube: 13 cm (t-t)

Bike is in a very good overall condition. It has all original marks of the high quality Batavus frames handmade in Holland. Imagine this was the most expensive frame wich was used by a lot of pro's. It has Campagnolo drop outs and a braze on for for the number. I get this from the first owner who has ride a couple of races (and wins) with it. Not hardly used.

Cinelli handle bar en Modolo stem.

Earo aluminium seatpost (scratches) with black Rolls saddle (in good condition as you can see)

Wheels: Shimano 600 hubs with Wolber TX high brown adonised rims and very good Continental Grand Prix tires

Pedals: none.

Very rare steel bike. All parts are ok and in good/perfect condition. Completely cleaned, polished and lubed, ready for a ride directly.

OMG! That is lovely.

I've had a few Bats and think they're great bikes easily on par with Champion Mondials and the best that Concorde have to offer. One thing you failed to mention which I think I can make out on the pics is that beautiful profile of the chrome forks.

Whoever buys this will be a very happy bunny.
