can someone please explain this to me (i genuinely was under the assumption that): aren't a lot of 14 Bike Co frame re-claimed? I ask merely as I checked in their once (after taking a deep breath) and their paint jobs looked atrocious so I could only assume that it was true?
Not trolling, this looks like a lovely lil bike and as such has made me reconsider my position on 14... help!

re-claimed?
nah 14 frames are (well most i think) custom builds.
Why would the atrocious paint jobs lead you to that conclusion? -
• #4
re-sprayed and poorly baked prior-art.
-
• #5
nah there all new, most are made by one of the coopers I think
-

I think that all 14 frames are custom made, most track frames are made by frame builder lee cooper and the esb is made by super ted and lee cooper...
this one is a lee cooper custom made frame. -

Fiars. Still wouldn't buy one new for £800 though.

I have had 2 frames off 14... the first geared bike they made and a single speed... love 'em both... if this lo pro had had bendy tubes I would have had it....

Another question, can someone who rides a 54, ride this?
Im curious as i like the straigh bar Lo Pro look... -
• #11
Is it actually possible/practical to ride on those drops?

I switch between risers and drops, but find the drops more comfortable, just looks a bit un practical but rides faster!

When you stand over the TT, where is it in relation to your nads?
(im trying to see if i can convince myself of this F&F) -

Usually I wouldn't do this, and I don't really give two fucks about 14 either way...
...but from the way I read it, it sounds like you are saying publically that instead of building customise frames and charging for it, they are re-spraying random old frames.
That is quite a claim. It might be an idea to elaborate and/or substantiate that statement. Or if that's not what you meant, you might want to make that clear.

Uh-oh! Lock up your children and don't let your gran out, CB is getting a lo-pro!

He can't even ride a normal bike....The streets will never be safe again!

(im trying to see if i can convince myself of this F&F)so I reckon it's about a cm from my nads? Ate you normally a 54?
-
• #20
How low your nads hang is also a factor in frame sizing assessment. Fact.
-

so I reckon it's about a cm from my nads? Ate you normally a 54?
Im a 54 on a normal frame, but i was curious about the slope changing all the variables... I was hoping the slope made it higher for longer legs (therefore higher seat for yous tall people) and then standing over the bar would be low so i can stand over the bar and have a lower seat. In fact, thats the reason i want a lopro because i find it annoying that the seat posts are stretched out that much. -

Only your children and gran. Everyone elses are safe... is safe... are safe... whatever...He can't even ride a normal bike....The streets will never be safe again!
I so can ride a normal bike, i just have skills coming off it.Less distance to fall perhaps?

Stopping with your head, is still stopping with your head no matter how far the distance. -

I am tentatively selling my 14 frame in 54cm, virtual 56/57cm
its a fillet brazed 631 low pro with stainless track-ends. it clear coated to show the braze.
the frame is in great condition with only a couple of scratches and marks, there is however a couple of scratches on the top tube where someone has locked there bike to mine and these scratches are starting to see a touch of rust....
for sale is frame/forks and tange sealed headset only.
£450....
