Very nice indeed Mr Powers! No need to wish you good luck with the sale. Very good price for a lovely colnago! Abraço! c_c

Thanks Ian.
I should add that both headset (a Shimano Pro branded one) and the bottom bracket (also Shimano) are included in the price.

very nice frame. My friend bought a colnago frame from Ebay, turned out it wasn't......! How can you tell if it is a genuine frame?

It depends on the age, but generally Ernesto Colnago (and many other big name Italian framebuilders) ensured that his bikes were unmistakeably his. The one I'm selling is fairly light in Colnago marks, it only has Colnago branded rear dropouts and a club logo on the lug where the headtube meets the downtube. I've seen other Colnago frames with branding on the bottom bracket shell, the seat stays and most of the lugs.

I'm pretty sure this is just a Carerra mountain bike frame with Colnago stickers on.

The frame for sure is colnago... Andy has displayed a several close up pics of the frame which display the wording and cloverleaf. How on earth could it be a Carrera frame?? The forks aren't Colnago, but overall and lovely frame at a very cheap price... surprised no one has grabbed it yet if still available...

Damn you to hell AndyP!
I had one of these, couriered on it for years, lovely. Not quite as lovely as my Technos but still terrific.
How much free Cycle Training would you accept in exchange for it: give that it might be a Carrera and has dodgy forks? -

That is not my Technos. What a fucking hideous mess. Jesus, I sound like one of the jerks on Current Projects or Anti-porn (I know you OCD snobs won't mind me referring to you as jerks).
This is my Technos http://www.lfgss.com/thread708-148.html#post666847

Chrome parts and color have nice contrast together

Yes they do and Colnagos handle so well you don't have to avoid every little bump in the road.

Have you considered cycle training?
I'm not sure why I ever bought this, I'd been outbid a day or two before on a beautiful Pinarello, and I think I was still feeling a little sore about missing out on that so put a cheeky eBay bid in on this and, to my surprise, won it.
It's subsequently been sat in a box in the loft room, but I need the space now and I've no plans to build this so I thought I'd offer it for sale here.
The frame measures 58.5 cm centre to centre with a 57 cm centre to centre top tube. Rear spacing is 130 mm and the seat tube takes a 27.2 seat post.
The condition is okay, it's got a fair amount of chips to the paint work but no dents and is, as best as I can tell, straight. The front mech hanger has been bent but I'm sure this can be rectified, I just don't fancy attempting it myself and damaging it irreparably. The supplied fork is not an original Colnago one but is period correct in that it is straight. I have been looking for a fork for it but only on eBay, they are available but you're looking at £100 or so as a minimum.
If you're looking for a Colnago restoration project, or you just fancy the idea of having a Colnago as a runaround then this frame could be for you.
Price: £175
This is how much I paid for it, including shipping. I'm not looking to make a profit and I think this price is fair for a Colnago in this condition.
I can post and will do so at cost.
If you're interested then PM me. I'll try and get more photos up later and if you want to view the frame before buying then you're welcome to come and see it. I live in Beckenham, south east London.
This frame was for sale on the forum before, although I bought it via eBay, and you can see the original thread here.
