  • 1960's Carlton Track frame, originally finished in chrome. The frame was refurbished by Argos in 2007, and is now finished in enammel. The 531 Frame has never been crashed, but has been raced throughout it's life. The paint has a few imperfections and chips, but nothing structural/massive, just some light cosmetic flaws.

    Mavic Open Pro CD rear rim on Campag Record small flange hub - £65
    Front Wheel:
    Mavic MA3 rim on Campag Mirage hub - - £30
    Bars:
    Cinelli 65-40 Criterium bars - £18
    Stem:
    Cinelli 1R 11cm stem - £16
    **Seatpost: **
    Shimano 600 aero seatpost - £16
    Cranks:
    Sugino 165mm cranks, 48 tooth sugino ring, all bolts and BB - £75
    Front Brake:
    Shimano 105 (very new, seen very little use) - £20
    Brake Levers:
    Shimano Aero Brake levers - Will be cleaned up before being sent to you - £10
    Others:
    Saddle, chain, pedals, tyres, tubes, whatevers - £a few quid

    Seattube: 22"
    Toptube: 22 1/4"
    Headtube: 6 1/2"

  • Might be wrong but it looks to be a converted road hub on the rear too... not one designed for fixed.

  • Just for reference I bought a 60's Carlton track frame from this forum about 15 months ago, chrome undrilled (original double flat crown)forks, chrome stays, headset etc. £270

    I'm not saying this frame is any better or worse, but £399 is a way off IMHO

  • Apologies - in hindsight I should have kept my trap shut anyway, I hate it when people step all over other people sales like that. I am disappoint (in myself)
