Bump. We have more than enough for ladies' only games now.
In fact, there are at least 15 regulars playing polo on thursday at Harper Road, Newington SE1.
And even more exciting is the upcoming 'Ladies Majority' tournament which will be held in london in October. http://www.lfgss.com/thread68638.html
Y'all should join us sometime at the courts, who knows, you might end up with the Hell's Belles Crown.

Bump. If any beginner ladies / total novices are wanting to come and try bike polo, this thursday at Harper Road, Newington SE1 would be a great opportunity to come and meet the girls. Our tournament in October is fast approaching and we'd love to get a few more London girls interested in the event.
Already we have teams registered from Canada, U.S, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and the rest of UK, but the more London ladies the better !
We're also doing lots of fun stuff to raise money for the event. We ran a hotdog stall last weekend, and have been selling lovely pink mallet heads. Our latest endeavour is selling this lovely brooks islington rucksack, as posted here.
Come make friends! It's fun, I promise :) x

LADIES! Come play polo! It's ridiculously brilliant. I'm thinking lolabelle and avellana would love it for starters.
I'm going to try and sort myself out with a ball and mallet in the next few weeks to practise solo polo - you should come have a go at beginners in peckenham or London fields innt!

Just wanted to throw the idea out to all the ladies now that we've got more than enough for a game.
Who would be interested in a ladies-only polo evening?
I was thinking, with all the ladies-only tournaments and potential for tournaments, it would be great for us to play together. It wouldn't be the same as newbie night, since we're not newbies (though newbie girls are more than welcome), so would be a great opportunity to play hard and fast with people of similar size, strength, etc.
Maybe a Tuesday or Thursday at Newington?
I might be way off base, but let me know what you all think.
