You should have a look at the 2001 census which has data on method of travel to work, with bicycle as one of the options. All the data at: http://www.statistics.gov.uk/census2001/census2001.asp
The neighbourhood stats portal makes it easy to cut the census data by local authority area: http://neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk

I certainly will when I start my dissertation, but for now I just need a small sample of data to put on SPSS for the quantitative module.
Appreciated.

oooh, SPSS its all coming back to me, the most useless section of a undergrad study ever-
just make up a data set, no one will ever know
Hi there,
I need some data that's already in the public domain for the quatitative research methods module for university.
I was going to do a questionnaire and put it on some forums to get people involved like that but it turns out it's too much messing about with the ethics clearence (most forums allow people as young as 13 to be a member).
My research interest is utility cycling, so does anyone know why I can get some data to do with cycle commuting or anything like that? Maybe the results of surveys about how many people travel in and out of and around London by bike or something like that.
Thanks everyone.
