Wanted: Peugeot bike

I'm looking for a peugeot frameset minimum, would prefer a complete bike, for around the 60-70 quid area.

needs to be roughly 57/58cm in size.

can't find anything that suits me really so all help very welcome :)

got hit by a car in belgium on my peugeot esprit. need to replace the front end and my mate wants to buy the frame off me. and i like them as a single speed.

something you dont like about them?

I have a couple of nice peugeot 531 tubing and a few nice parts. They are not all piles of gas tubing etc.
But good luck in your hunt for one in that price range complete.

i know! dont think im going get it! but yeah, just before the summer i picked up my complete peugeot esprit off the bay for 50. just neeed to replace the front forks, buy a new set of wheels. but would be nice to get a complete one and get a frame to my mates.

I just think they're over rated, Carbolite tubing really is nothing more than gaspipe and add to that odd seatpost and handlebar sizes plus french threading just makes them a pain (Reynolds tubed ones are fine).

Personally I think your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

It may not suitable but I am selling* this Carrera for peanuts http://www.lfgss.com/thread54669.html Admittedly Carrera are far from exotic but it does have a Tange frame which rides very nicely and is relatively light for less than your willing to pay for Carbolite.

*My dislike of Pugs was not just me taking an opportunity to plug my sale but simply highlights what I'm talking about.
