Those decathalon orange things? They're like £70. Most of it will prolly fall apart, but for that money it might be worth a try.

Thanks guys, added these to my lists to consider as well as a second hand Genesis Day One,, though Ideally I'd like a flip flop hub.
I've not asked on the Polo forum, I thought posting here would be the ideal location, /shrug/ ?

Polo peoples may point you in the right direction.
They know things others can only dream of.

I'm 5ft 6 with 32" inside leg will this frame be okay for me, i'm concerned about the reach being too much. -

Better than a Create either way, a 54cm should fit you fine.

Yeah the creates and the vikings are pretty poor build and material quality wise.

If you like it, go for it.
also worth looking at the Kona Smoke, a great little bike for under £200 on ebay and the like.
-
• #18
The smoke's seem to go for a bit over odds imo for something second hand and a little unloved looking, would prefer new,
I'm finding mixed reviews on this pink SE.. people reconning it falls apart after 3 months and requires new BB etc so they recommend just buying something more expensive, though n the three reviews out of seven which are negative they all paid £250+ :I

Actually it's brand new (the Smoke).
-
• #21
The smoke may not be a singlespeed bicycle but it's an excellent value for what it is.

Have you seen this on the 2011 bikes thread?
Something a little different. Vitus Vee-1, self-styled pub bike, only £260

This, fantastic for the money.
I've given up looking for a (smaller than 18") CSZ to buy for Polo, what other new alternatives are there for the same monies? £200 max budget, remember it's for Polo.
Thanks
