I can't say I'll definately be there, will try to pop down though.
Get involved folks. Polo is good fun and the guys are all cool and were happy to accomodate a beginner when I turned up unannounced. -

definitely not this thursday I'm afraid but keen to get involved at some point.

So did you get many down for this? I couldn't make it unfortunately.

Is this still going on at this time of year? I've never played but my housemate and I were thinking of coming down next week. Is it possible to borrow a mallet (and possibly a bike- Not sure I've got appropriate gearing)?
-

I didn't have appropriate gearing when I played, but still got on ok. They also had mallets to use and were happy to let newcomers use them. I don't know if it's still hapening though, not been down in ages. makes excuse about being busy blah blah but is actually just disorgnised

It's been quiet recently, but in a fit of organisational madness I created a Doodle poll
http://doodle.com/mxf998dauu8m839pStick your name down, and tick which days you're free (green-free, yellow-maybe). Don't worry about equipment, we normally have some spare mallets, just bring a bike you don't mind getting the odd (possibly self inflicted) knock :)

you can borrow my bike if im down there.

This Wednesday 8.30 pm Currys car park, weather permitting.

Sorry, feel like a massive arse about this... work got super hectic this week so I wasn't able to commit to any of the times. Also I go away on Wednesday but maybe I'll manage to swing by in a month when I'm back.

So are Thursdays going to be your regular session from now on, or are you doing Wednesday/Saturday as well? I can't make Thursday, but I could make tonight, for instance...
Cheers.
