yes
120

this cannot be converted to a road wheel as it's a proper track hub with track axel kit. -

Any pics? Other than from the hed site

Not trying to call bluff, but just wanna clarify. The track conversion kit is usually used for older HED/Specialized to convert road screwed on to track use (pre-2006 as per HED website). Did you buy a NOS wheel since you said you purchases it new?
Or could it be a track specific wheel i.e. the hub (without the need for a track adaptor/converter) is one with left hand threads for a lockring?
bought from new.

just read the description of the track adaptor on the hed site and was thinking the same thing.
Oh and, is the track adaptor already fitted?

Definitely interested in seeing pix, as Hed (UK) seemed incapable of supplying me with a track clincher rear when I bought my front one 6 months ago. The step down converter is not suitable for road use (and some might argue track use, if your track insists on lock rings) since the converter itself just screws onto the freewheel thread with no locking mechanism, so the lock ring on the converter is pretty pointless.

decals can be bought from ebay for about a fiver.
wheel originally had some axel problems and was sent back to hed who replaced the axel (pretty easy to remove and clean yourself if need be).
ever since it''s been running perfectly.
no chips, no brakes have ever touched it (it does have braking surface but i mask it up with electrical tape (easily removable).
no pics as of yet.. but if you really want to see it then i'll provide.
