Ah, I know that squeak. It's indicative of a failure inside the lens in the... Picard prismatic array.
It'll be junk in a few weeks, trust me. I'll give you a fiver for it so I can salvage some parts.

Bibs back up for sale!
-
• #25
Hell Yeah! please
T-shirts, some forum related, some not... All medium, all too big for me, £5 each posted.
Mavic Jersey, worn once, too small for me. Size medium (fits more like a small) £25 posted
Pearl Izumi Bibs (small, but a very big small. more like a medium/large in european sizes), got these of teenslain, he said he wore them once. to small for him. I've never even worn them out the house, or on the bike, too big for me. nice thick lycra, good for winter. £15 posted
I also have this Nikon AF-S 17-35mm ED pro level lens for sale... might be a bit rich for the forum, but worth a shot before ebay.
If you're considering buying it, i'm sure you'll already know all about it.... so i wont bother you with the blurb.
It's a well used lens, cosmetic marks, but nothing serious. the glass is in good nick, and no fungus etc.
It does make a squeeking noise when auto-focusung though, which apparently is a common problem on these older models. This in turn makes the auto-focus a little slow, but i've only really used it for a few lanscape shots, so it's not been a problem for me.... appart from that, it's in good working order. Comes with lens cap, end cap, and hood.
The ones with this problem seem to go for between £600 - £700 on ebay, so i'll say £600 ono on here..... welcome to come and have a look at it.
Everything appart from the lens is Paypal & postage ( you pay the fee)
lens is cash on collection (Brixton), as i wouldn't trust royal mail with it.
